June 3rd, 2010ORLANDO, Fla., May 24, 2010 – Sales of existing homes in Florida rose 27 percent in April, which means that sales activity has increased in the year-to-year comparison for 20 months, according to the latest housing data released by Florida Realtors®. Another positive sign: Last month’s statewide existing-home median price of $140,100 was 1 percent higher than the statewide median price in April 2009.

April 29th, 2010New Smyrna Beach – the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) reported 154 homes (single-family residences including duplexes and townhomes) sold in 2010 compared to 110 homes a year ago for a 40 percent increase. The existing home median sales price was $123,450; a year ago, it was $126,000 for a 2 percent decrease.

March 26th, 2010ORLANDO, Fla., March 23, 2010 – The Daytona Beach Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA), including Volusia & Flagler County, reported a total of 614 homes sold in February compared to 498 homes a year earlier for a 23 percent increase. The market’s existing home median sales price last month was $111,700, 16 percent lower than the year-ago median price of $132,400. A total of 127 condos sold in the MSA in February compared to 92 units sold the same month a year earlier for an increase of 38 percent. The existing condo median price last month was $111,700; a year earlier, it was $133,300 for a decrease of 16 percent, according to the latest housing data released by Florida Realtors®.
