Fla.’s Existing Home and Condo Sales Up in Nov. 2011

ORLANDO, Fla., Dec. 21, 2011 – Florida’s existing home and existing condo sales continued its positive upswing in November, according to the latest housing data released by Florida Realtors®. Existing home sales increased 11 percent last month with a total of 12,993 homes sold statewide compared to 11,664 homes sold in November 2010, according to Florida Realtors.

Volusia & Flagler County’s Existing Home, Condo Sales Up in March 2011

ORLANDO, Fla., April 20, 2011 – The Daytona Beach Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA), including Volusia & Flagler County, reported a total of 810 homes sold in March 2011 compared to 768 homes a year earlier for a 5 percent increase. The market’s existing home median sales price last month was $112,500, 7 percent lower than the year-ago median price of $121,300. A total of 193 condos sold in the MSA in March compared to 156 units sold the same month a year earlier for an increase of 24 percent. The existing condo median price last month was $123,500; a year earlier, it was $129,100 for a decrease of 4 percent, according to the latest housing data released by Florida Realtors®.

Florida’s Existing Home, Condo Sales Up in March 2011

ORLANDO, Fla., April 20, 2011 – Florida’s existing home and existing condo sales rose in March, according to the latest housing data released by Florida Realtors®. Existing home sales increased 12 percent last month with a total of 18,522 homes sold statewide compared to 16,540 homes sold in March 2010, according to Florida Realtors. Statewide sales of existing condos last month rose 24 percent compared to the year-ago sales figure.

Florida’s Existing Home, Condo Sales Up in December; Sales Activity also Higher at Year End 2010

ORLANDO, Fla., Jan. 20, 2011 – Sales of existing homes and condominiums in Florida rose in December, a positive trend also reported at the close of 2010 as statewide sales activity posted gains over the previous year, according to the latest housing data released by Florida Realtors®.

SE Volusia Existing SF Home Sales Increase in 2010

New Smyrna Beach – the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) reported 613 single-family homes sold in 2010 compared to 483 single-family homes a year ago for a 26.5 percent increase. The existing home median sales price was $145,000; a year ago, it was $156,000 for a 7 percent decrease.

Florida’s Existing Condo Sales Rise in November 2010

ORLANDO, Fla., Dec. 22, 2010 – Sales of existing condominiums in Florida rose 10 percent in September, with a total of 5,675 condos sold statewide compared to 5,140 units sold in September 2009, according to the latest housing data released by Florida Realtors®.

Economic Factors Impact Florida’s Housing Market in Oct. 2010

ORLANDO, Fla., Nov. 23, 2010 – Statewide year-to-date existing home sales in Florida showed positive momentum in October: 143,398 single-family existing homes sold for a 7 percent increase over the same period a year ago, though uncertainty over job growth, restrictive credit and foreclosure issues had a dampening effect on housing activity last month, according to industry analysts. The latest housing data released by Florida Realtors® also reported a 33 percent rise in statewide year-to-date condominium sales compared to a year ago, with a total of 59,966 units sold.®.
